So there will be a new Harry Potter movie but ... without Harry Potter.
Warner Bros announced that they wanna make movie series based on Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by J.K. Rowling.
The book was released at 2001 and it's about magical creatures in Harry Potter world and also the book showed up in first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, like Harry's textbook. The movie will take place 70 years before Harry's time and the main character will be Newt Scamander.
According to the in-universe lore, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was a Hogwarts text book written by a magizoolist Newton Scamander, and published 1927. He began to work on this book in 1918 and it took him 9 years of collecting materials and a lot of travels to get the book together.
So far these are the only facts we know about the movie "rumor". We hope that these series will be successful same as Harry Potter, even that Harry is not in it.
