Nikon D800 - Everything we expected ...

After 3 years from its predecessor D700, Nikon released the newest DSLR D800 and the camera have everything that every professional photographer want a camera to have. The waiting is over, the camera is already selling for almost $3000 on Amazon and believe me ... that price is nothing for this camera.
These are the specifications for Nikon D800:

• Sensor - 36.3MP CMOS (15.3MP DX format mode; 25MP 1.5 Crop mode)
• ISO  100 - 6400 (25.600 with booster)
• Video - 1080p (30,25,24 frames per second); 720p (60 f/s): H.264 or MPEG-4
• External mic - 20 modes of sensitivity 
• Memory: CF and SD cards

With amassing picture resolution of 36.5MP (7360 x 4912 pixels) and full frame senson FX (35.9 - 24mm) you can create perfect pictures with it. The new auto focus sensor technology and fast processor, allows you to take clear pictures and videos even when its dark. 

The 2 card slots allows you to use one card only for pictures and other one for videos.

The HDMI port allows you to send the uncompresed HD video from the camera to external drive with build in HDMI port. The first in a digial cameras D800 have USB 3.0. With lower power consumption from USB 2.0, the new technology have transfer speed up to 5Gbits per second but if you plug in to USB 2.0 port it will have the normal 2.0 transfer speed.
